About Us

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Miramar Military Spouses’ Club is to foster friendship and promote goodwill among MMSC members and to support social, educational, and community service projects.

The Miramar Military Spouses’ Club is a private, 501(c)(4)  non-profit organization devoted to the support of military service personnel and their family members throughout the San Diego area.  Our organization raises funds throughout the year at fun, exciting events such as our Children’s Ball and Mardi Gras Charity Auction.   All the proceeds from these events are given back to the San Diego military community in the form of college scholarships to military spouses and children and philanthropic grants that support the local and national military community.

Volunteer Opportunities

We always have room for new faces and fresh ideas on our MMSC board and committees:

  • Scholarship & Philanthropy Committee
  • Mardi Gras Committee
  • Interest Group Leader

If you are interested in serving on the board, volunteering on any of the above committees, or leading an Interest Group please contact the President at miramarmscpresident@gmail.com. 


The MMSC meetings and social events are held monthly, from September through May. All members and potential members are welcome and encouraged to attend! These meetings are used to inform members of upcoming events, educate members on resources available to military spouses, and generate new ideas on how to further support and engage our community. Please see the calendar section of this website for further details.
